King James Spoke MinnuSOtan

MinnuSOtans  have a lyrical way of talking.

Fur shur, ya' know it's true.

I 'splained it all ven I blogged about the boyce's
You gotta' read dat dere blog, ya' know.
It's purty funnee.
Didja' read it, or no?
Okie Dokie, if ya' read it, we can go on.
So...

I always tot it vas jes my relatiffs that talked so
doggone funny, fer Pete's sake.

Den I realized King JameS, ya' know da' guy dat rote da' BIbell,
he talked funny too, fur shur.

Uffda, he liket tu say or no?
Ven dey yoose dose two vords, ya' bedder lissen.
Sumvun is asken yoo a queshchun an
ya' gunna' hafta' make a gut desishun.

Deuteronomy 8:2
"And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee
these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee,
to know what was in thine heart,
whether thou wouldest keep his commandments,
or no."

Luke 20:22
"Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar,
or no?"

John 9:25
"He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner
or no."

Fur cryin' outloud, he Efen had da' bad habit
uv startin' sentences with so
ven he's 'splaining sumthin aboot sumbudy else.
Ven ya' hear dat' so,
pay 'tenshun tu da'  name folloween it.
Sumthin' verth repeating  iS gunna' tickle yer earS.

Genesis 1:27
 So,
God created man in his own image,

Genesis 20:17
So,
Abraham prayed unto God

Hebrews 9:28
So,
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;

King JameS Efen yoost da' longuh form of dat' sayeeng,
so then
tu start his sentenceS, ya' know,
ven he wuS gunna' say sumthin important.
Uv courS, ya' don't say da' th,
ya' say so 'den.
But, mind yer p's and q's, ya' little whippersnappers,
'cuz da'
so then
means ya' bedder be liSSening fur vat iS happenin' next.

Romans 8:8
So then,
those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 14:12
So then
each of us shall give account of himself to God.

Revelation 3:16
So then,
because you are lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot,
I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Dat King JameS, he also yoosed
or what
like a gut MinnusSOtan,
but he yoosed it at the beginning of a sentence.
MinnuSOtanS turn a sentence into a queshchun
by putten dem dere wordS at da' end.

Mark 8:37
Or what
shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

I looket for you bet in da' King JameS BIbell,
also translated you betcha',
but it weren't dere.
Ya' know, I jes' 'membered, King JameS
probblee din't bet.

So frenz, didja'  read dis blog carefullee,

So then, iffin ya' did read dis',
ya' got sum gut desishuns to make frum vat I sed.
Since now ya' dun know how tu speak King JameS,
ya' gunna' read dis' gut book  efferee day,

  3. My goodness, that probably took a long time to write.

Great verses to challenge me in my walk with the Lord. Sometimes after I've prayed about my childen's salvation, I step back and look at my own relationship with the Lord and KNOW in my heart that it's lukewarm.
