Last week I blogged about
Then, I blogged about
We don't like to wait.
We fuss at our kids for being impatient while waiting
for their birthday,
their meal,
their vacation or
their turn in the bathroom.
But,we adults can act the same way.
The Lord's timing can be a little hard for us to take.
We like things done
our way
and in
our timing.
During anxious, unsure moments,
it helps to focus on what we're waiting for.
In Luke 8:40, people were longing to see the
Savior.
"...when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed Him,
for they were all waiting for Him."
When life on earth is hard and we're tired of our flesh,
we may long for
Heaven.
Romans 8:23, "...even we ourselves groan within ourselves,
eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
For believers alive at this moment,
we are waiting for His blessed
return.
I Corinthians 1:7, "...waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:"
While we were waiting
it helped to think about what we were waiting for.
That's right.
A baby.
Not mine, of course, but my daughter's.
My third grandchild.

And, it's always worth
waiting...
especially for a
baby.
