Never Weary in Well-Doing

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

It's easy to lose heart,
when we're
tired,
tested,
battle-weary
and
discouraged.

Follow me over to my new wordpress blog
to see how the Lord greatly blessed me
in a surprising way.

I was weary,
and almost said
NO
to a blessing the Lord had planned
to encourage me at a time
when I needed it most.

C'mon, click on the link,
I know you wanna' hear how the story ends...

I'm So Very, Very Tired

I'm tired.

Not just the "I need more sleep" kinda' tired,
although I don't get enough sleep.

Not just the "I'm really busy" kinda' tired,
although I'm really, really busy.

It's not even the "there are many demands on my life" kinda' tired,
although there are a lot of demands on my life.

I feel spiritually, physically and emotionally exhausted.

But, I can't say, "life is too hard"
because it isn't.

I can't say "the trials are unbearable"
because they aren't.

I can't say "I can't go on"
because of the grace of the Lord,
and His mercies that are new each morning,
I know I will wake up and somehow
have the strength
to face
just
one
more
day.

But, I do admit to being tired.
Very, very tired.

Praise the Lord, I won't be tired long.

Jeremiah 31:25
"I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”

I have a great reason to press on.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing:
for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.

So, just gunna' get me a little sleep,
a little refreshing from the Lord
and wait for that due season...

...praying I reap a bountiful harvest.
