My kids are homeschooled.
According to my son, Daniel, he tells people he was
"hometeached" or "housetrained."
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
I've actually had people correct me when I say hometeached.
"You mean homeschooled."
I guess some people don't have a stench of humor.

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny that folk feel they have to correct your speech. It's almost like saying, see, those home schoolers are not too bright!
ReplyDeleteIf asked by other mums about it, I would say a sense of humour is one of the most needed qualities to homeschool. I think that is why all the HS mums have such a great time together when we meet!! And why home school bloggers use so many exclamation marks!!
